I am so excited to share this with you!

I was recently chosen to be a part of a very popular wedding website called Intimate Weddings as a writer. I am so excited to join this team! I love this website and I love small weddings! Justine + Ryan

Justine and Ryan are getting married in June and I’m so excited for their big day at the Bellamere! This was my first official engagement session while living in the city of London. It was kind of nice to only have to drive a couple of minutes to get to my destination. We were originally going to do the shoot in the Farmer’s Market but were shooed away because we were taking photos of fruit. They were very co-operative and I had a great time hanging out with them. We finished our long walk through the park with some beers at The Works.

Tara + Nick

Tara and Nick were married in a little church in West Montrose in the heat of August. They had an outdoor reception with home cooking made by both their families. We had a great time shooting their photos at the kissing bridge. As in their engagement photos, Nick and Tara had great chemistry and were easy to ‘shoot’. But I can let the photos speak for themselves.

Erin + Jermaine

Erin and Jermaine had an intimate family wedding at Erin’s parents house on the water on Howe Island. I had never been to that part of Ontario before and it was absolutely beautiful. (If you ever want a nice trip only a couple of hours away I would suggest this location.) Unfortunately, a huge downpour of a storm blew in overnight and our plans for photos were soaked. We managed to get a couple of shots in between rain drops but I returned the next day (of course, the sun was shining) to do an extra ‘day after’ session with them. These two are so funny and so much in love. I wish them all the best of luck in the future!

Tory + Craig

Craig and I met when we were 17 years old and working at a summer camp. We always got along because I was good at bossing the kids around and he was good at being the cool guy. When he asked me to photograph his wedding to his bride to be, Tory, I was flattered. When we met up to discuss the details it was like we were never apart. We went to one of my favourite spots right outside of Hamilton to Webster Falls. We had some beautiful weather and a great park to work with.

Ali + Sean

Ali is a very good friend of mine and I was so excited when she asked me to capture her special day. Ali and Sean were married in June at the Fire Rock golf course in London. They chose to do a ‘first look’ and I think it turned out beautifully. It gave them that moment to be alone and made a great start to a wonderful evening.

This image is my favourite of them all because Ali’s maid of honor, Sarah, has been Ali’s best friend since elementary school and she has such a beautiful speech. I think the entire audience was crying (including the camera woman)

Tara + Nick

Tara and Nick live in Kingston but travelled to Port Dover frequently in their early dating years. They wanted their engagement photos to reflect the beauty of Port Dover as well as their relationship. Their session was incredibly easy as they were natural in front of the camera. Their son, Nash, tagged along to be a part of these special photos.
